A site that leads discussions, shares research and information and demonstrates best practices regarding technology so it can be used to benefit children ages 0-8 years."

This is resource is great for early childhood teachers. The idea of using technology in this setting is hard to see but this site show you how to do effectively. It is great to see that NAEYC is has a diigo group and are doing the same thing we are doing in this class.

Early ACCESS Iowa - 0 views

  •
This is Iowa's early intervention.  This is for children that are birth to age three.  This is early access' links and resources pages.  Having this page is help because these resources are researched before they are put onto this page.

This would be a great resource in my future classroom because it is has well researched, reliable links to provide information on early intervention resources. Many times teachers do not have the knowledge of ability to provide an individual child with what they need. So this site can direct teachers to organizations and resources that can help that child. This site would only be used by teachers, health care providers, social service agencies, and parents. It is not designed for students learning activities or a resource for coursework. I am not aware of any other resources like this that focus on birth through age three.

Interesting and safe blogs for kids. Kids from around the world add stories, pictures, and videos of experiences from around the world. Good site to allow children to look through freely.
  •
Blog rules are clearly posted. Sub blogs, like DogEared (about books), Green Scene (about taking care of the planet), and You Are Here (searching for landmarks) are cool for kids to post pictures of themselves and find out about cultures, animals, and trends around the world. This would be good for kids!

Online Math Programs | Math Practice & Learning - 0 views

This is a math online.  I found this resource from my little sister who is in second grad and is using for math homework.  This site if free! Here children get to work on math skills that are at their level.  If they get suck they can get a hint or they can watch a video that explains the problem.
