PJ, Raptivity Valued Professional, Shares his Experience of Raptivity Expert Hour - 0 views

  •
As a RVP, I got the opportunity to talk to some of the customers and help them in the Expert Hour sessions. Some of the customers were totally new to eLearning and Raptivity whereas some were themselves Raptivity Experts. Before the call, customers had shared their thoughts and issues with us through a pre-call survey. Many customers wanted to know how Raptivity interactivities could be used differently whereas few had queries on which interactions could be used for their specific content and so on. These points were taken up during the one hour sessions with them. To name some of them, once I showed how a very simple interaction model 'Flash Card' can be used differently to show a profit chart. I also took some customers through the Tin Can tracking mechanism of Raptivity. Various new features like media tool box, HTML5 publishing, global settings, etc were also show cased during the calls.

But lately, with the paucity of time, customers have started demanding instant resolution to their queries. They do not have the patience to wait for a day to receive a response to their query. So what do we do? One probable solution that comes to my mind is Chat. And why not, when there are reasons that make it better than email. Let's have a look at some of them.

Templates - To Use or Not to Use? - 0 views

  •
Templates can be very helpful in providing the structure of online learning activities; however some templates can limit creativity and make presentations become very cookie-cutter and boring. Templates can also allow for the rapid creation of learning activities which enable timely development and revisions. If templates are easy to use and flexible; they facilitate the design of relevant, current, and creative activities.
