Last week on NPR a professor in the Sloan School of Management at MIT explained that what is really at stake in the health care bill is the US government's ability to borrow. In other words, the bill is about cutting health care costs, not about providing hard-pressed Americans with health care.

Since Congress doesn't want to read the Health Care Bill and Obama, ACORN, Unions, Lawyers, & Special Interest Groups don't want you to know whats in this monstrosity, I decided to do it myself. The Obama White House is calling for informer-citizens to denounce opponents of the president's health care plan. A post on the White House website posted today reads: There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

There's been an mass/chain email going around about my tweets on the Health Care Bill. The problem with this email is that it misquotes what I actually said. The email has gotten so bad in fact, that I have word it's now going directly to people's spam folders.

I can not help but be reminded of the 1973 science fiction movie, Soylent Green (MGM Production-based upon the novel, Make Room! Make Room! By Harry Harrison), in which a society running out of resources resorts to mercy killing of the elderly and ultimately uses them for a food source. In that society, participants were convinced there was a high value in undergoing a short lived wondrous death experience and a low value in living a life as an elderly disabled or in-firmed nonproductive citizen.
