Last week on NPR a professor in the Sloan School of Management at MIT explained that what is really at stake in the health care bill is the US government's ability to borrow. In other words, the bill is about cutting health care costs, not about providing hard-pressed Americans with health care.

The Obama White House is calling for informer-citizens to denounce opponents of the president's health care plan. A post on the White House website posted today reads: There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help.
