Mahindra's new Verito could soon be available in two different variants, as the company contemplates expanding their portfolio by this fiscal year end. Pawan Goenka, the president of M&M's Farm Equipment and Automotive Sectors, said that one of the variants will be a completely refreshed variant; the one will be a sub-four meter small car.

"The much anticipated Hyundai Creta compact SUV to be available in 6 variants, 2 diesel and 1 petrol engine options. ABS, tilt steering, rear AC vents and dual horns are standard in all variants."

Maruti Suzuki saw low sales in July, aided further as the company halted production of the Swift. As the new Swift variant gets ready to launch in August, the sale are expected to increase further.
