Nissan has forecast a positive outlook for their annual operating profit. The company expects a drop of just 14.4% this year, with an operating profit of 460bn yen.

Nissan will soon be launching the new upgraded version of Micra which has presently been codenamed as K2.

Nissan Motor India, which had been a fringe player till the launch of their Micra car in India, has quite a few big plans for the Indian auto market with Renault, its current alliance partner. The company is reportedly planning to release a small new car in the price bracket of INR 2 to 4 lakhs.

Bajaj Auto has reportedly axed their small car ULC project that they were developing for Renault-Nissan.
