The BSE Sensex, last week closed below 19500 points, indicating a low grinding trend. The Nifty, on the other hand, is drifting away from the 6000 mark. Gold feb future is trading with a marginal gain of Rs 26709. Silver march future trading with a gain of 0.42 percent at Rs 36141. Natural Gas jan future trades with a fell of 2.02 percent. Copper is down 0.11 per cent to Rs 400. Nickel jan future trades with a gain of 0.23 per cent at Rs 965.60. Aluminum and lead have a weakness of 0.17 percent each Zinc trades with a weakness of 0.22 percent.

Midcap and smallcap stocks have selling pressure. BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices fell by around 1 per cent. All major indices of the BSE are in the red. Auto, Capital goods, Realty, banking, power and metal stocks have maximum selling pressure. Sensex is down by 334 points or 1.2 per cent and is trading at 28384. Nifty fell 95 or 1.1 per cent and is trading at 8566.5 .
