This image shows datasets that have been published in Linked Data format, by contributors to the Linking Open Data community project and other individuals and organisations. Linked data for the University of Oxford

A cool app showing which councils are publishing their spending data, whether the data is released with an 'open' licence, and whether is it available as 'linked data' (machine readable).

Warwickshire County Council is taking open and linked data seriously. They're opening up data and supporting the developer community to do something useful with it through a Hack Warwickshire competition (open til 25 June). And they're open to suggestions of what data should be open next.

National Archives instructions for transferring data, information and knowledge resulting from 'Machinery of Government' changes. Updated this year, the document unfortunately makes no mention of how Linked Data might help in the complex business of moving ownership of information. There is reference to XML schema guidance from 2008 from the National Archives http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/electronicrecords/advice/default.htm Whilst it implies that tacit knowledge transfer is important, there is no guidance or tools for this and relies on codification rather than knowledge sharing.
