alxa robert on 26 Sep 12After GSM and CDMA Telecom operators, state-controlled telecom firm BSNL has moved sectoral tribunal TDSAT against TRAI's directive on offering Value-Added-Services (VAS). BSNL has challenged the show-cause notice issued by Trai on July 18, 2012 for implementation of VAS guidelines. The TDSAT bench headed by its Chairman Justice S B Sinha has directed to list the matter for October 3 for hearing. The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal has also listed the petitions of GSM lobby group Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) and CDMA's Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI) against the TRAI directive.
