UIDAI signs 7 year deal with HCL Infosystems | eGov Magazine - 0 views

    HCL Infosystems has signed a seven-year contract with The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to implement and manage the Central ID Repository (CIDR) for UIDAI. The entire end-to-end technology infrastructure of the UIDAI will be managed by HCL Infosystems as the designated managed services provider (MSP). The company will be responsible for procurement and installation of the IT infrastructure, implementation of information security management systems and operations support and maintenance. The scope of work also includes technical helpdesk, support services and database administration. Commenting on the tie-up, BB Nanawati, deputy director general (Technology) at UIDAI said it's looking forward to maximising the efficiency with the help of the managed service provider.
