Our children are also the most vulnerable members of society. Protecting our children against the fear of crime and from becoming victims of crime must be a national priority.

Edmodo is an easy way to get your students connected so they can safely collaborate, get and stay organized, and access assignments, grades, and school messages.

A great and safe tool to use with students, in my case due to the Quarantine situation, we had to move on to E-learning so quick with 7 - 8 years old students, the platform is ideally for older students but Edmodo helped a lot to keep a direct communication with students/parents in a safe online environment.

It is a great tool to bring the learner, teacher and parent all three community and make the learning happen in a wholesome way. Learners being able to work on feedforwards from the teachers and peer feedback can be implied here.

A worldwide network of coding clubs for children aged 9-11. I use ready to go Scratch projects from this site to help run my coding club, however it is also great as classroom support or enrichment.

my kids love making the robots dance on the robot boogie challenge! I would have suggested this myself. It's interesting to watch them switch from the sliders to inputting numbers, adjusting and checking the results.

Our story last week about the connection between ADHD, movement and thinking struck a nerve with readers. We reported on a small study in which students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder performed better on memory tasks when they were allowed to spin and move around in a swiveling chair.

I have seen a few of these ideas work with preschoolers. Love the swivel chair idea. Great was to allow movement while attention to table work is needed.

Presentation tip #1: Be a great presenter with Prezi presentation software. This is a wonderful new way of presentation. Easy and quick. One can use this instead of powerpoint presentation. In my experience, students love to explore prezi.

Learn the basics of the JavaScript programming language. Create an interactive animation of your own name. A did this activity with a few Year 4 students (8/9 years old). Codecademy has lots of interactive learn to code examples, older students or students needing extension activities could use the Python tutorial.

Discover an endless library of free books, picture books, & poetry or use simple tools to create books in minutes. Storybird is a creative community where readers & writers celebrate storytelling. This resource provides beautiful illustrations to act as a stimulus for teaching writing. You can work from a single image with drag and drop words to create a poem, put together a selection of pictures which are grouped by style or theme for you and use them to write a picture book, or create a more challenging longer format for older kids. The books can then be saved and read by other class members.

One of the best resources I have found for free on internet, Excellent design and certifications for free, I use it in my class when I teach English to fifth graders, and people in general. =)

Superheroes were the topic earlier in the year, for a number of schools we support. This would have been a great site for children to create their own superheroes. I'll bookmark for next time :)

I agree this is a great tool for the beginner. I am using it for the MOOC being run by the Smithsonian about Superheroes and Comics. really great
