Great digital porfolio tool

I like using kahoot and flipgrid . They are great tools for making learning fun

During the covid pandemic, when the classroom has been changed to virtual classrooms I have been using this site for creating quizzes and games in the class. This can be used to create content-based as well as fun games in the classroom.

This looks like a great idea for the end of the year, by collecting photos, games, activities and other classroom resources we can create a wonderful ending video.

would like to try this.

I've been using Genial.ly to create digital supports to use in class. The 'games' templates are my favorite. Students truly love them!

A worldwide network of coding clubs for children aged 9-11. I use ready to go Scratch projects from this site to help run my coding club, however it is also great as classroom support or enrichment.

my kids love making the robots dance on the robot boogie challenge! I would have suggested this myself. It's interesting to watch them switch from the sliders to inputting numbers, adjusting and checking the results.

Learn the basics of the JavaScript programming language. Create an interactive animation of your own name. A did this activity with a few Year 4 students (8/9 years old). Codecademy has lots of interactive learn to code examples, older students or students needing extension activities could use the Python tutorial.

I haven't used this but recently heard about it. Our fourth graders study different regions and I think it would be great fun to do!!

Love using this tool in the classroom to explore a range of topics from science to literacy. The coding games and tutorials teach a lot of problem solving, language development and collaboration skills.

Meet Nearpod, an all-in-one solution for the use of mobile devices in education. Easily create interactive multimedia presentations to engage your audience. It works great with iPads and provides continuous feedback and reports

This is an online service that allows you to create interactive lessons with students. You can use it in "student-paced" mode or in "Live session" to have all your students engaging at the same time. I was able to get a School License and it has been great! The free version works great too. The only limitations are the storage space and the limited file size for each presentation. There is a Google Slide integration if you would like a more familiar experience. I like to work on Nearpod.com and import slides created in whatever software or App I'm feeling like using that day (Canva.com , Keynote , etc.). I encourage you to try it out, it is really fun and at least my students really enjoy lessons designed on Nearpod!

I had a colleague recommend this to me the other day! I will use it in my Science class to introduce animals as living things (3rd grade).

Powtoon allows teachers to create interactive videos on any topic they want, by using hundreds of pre-made templates. Ypu can also create ur video design from scratch, if you want. Powtoon has a free subscription with a minimum number of features. Also it has premium paid templates,backgrounds and characters.
