Hi, I am Tania Hernández and I want to share with you this app called Webex Meetings, it is very useful for students in this lockdown time because it enables teachers to teach through this app completely free. Also, teachers can share content to the students during the meeting.

In Africa, there is a huge gap in the use of ICT in Primary Education, that is why am excited to be here to learn and also share my ideas.

This is a tool I used to play in the classroom, there are thousands of quizes created but the best of all it's that i can create my own, even recycling other's questions. It is a nice way to promote competition among students, and to motivate them to seld evaluate their knowledge.

I learned about this during the shut down. I created some times table quizzes and it was great because you can ask questions in a variety of ways. Audio Questions, pictures or written. Great tool, and the self marking and statistics provided are very helpful.

I haven't used this but recently heard about it. Our fourth graders study different regions and I think it would be great fun to do!!

Vialogues(Video+Dialogues) is an asynchronous Video discussion tool which can be used for leveraging digital videos for learning by adding group interaction as part of the online video experience.

Love using this tool in the classroom to explore a range of topics from science to literacy. The coding games and tutorials teach a lot of problem solving, language development and collaboration skills.

In the last few years, browser-based presentation tools like Google Slides and Visme have been slowly, but surely, winning over users who once thought PowerPoint was the best software for creating beautiful slide decks. This wiki was developed by myself and Adrian Camm a few years ago and many, many people have contributed to it since. It has become a comprehensive resource designed to support teachers in the use of serious games in education for students of all ages. This is an online service that allows you to create interactive lessons with students. You can use it in "student-paced" mode or in "Live session" to have all your students engaging at the same time. I was able to get a School License and it has been great! The free version works great too. The only limitations are the storage space and the limited file size for each presentation. There is a Google Slide integration if you would like a more familiar experience. I like to work on Nearpod.com and import slides created in whatever software or App I'm feeling like using that day (Canva.com , Keynote , etc.). I encourage you to try it out, it is really fun and at least my students really enjoy lessons designed on Nearpod!

I had a colleague recommend this to me the other day! I will use it in my Science class to introduce animals as living things (3rd grade).

I have used Prodigy with elementary school children with great success. The adaptability of the program is fantastic and students really get engaged with the reward system. It is also an excellent way to explain kids' learning progress to parents.
