Maltese passport and life as an EU citizen for anyone with £546,000 - 0 views

  •
Maltese is selling passports to members of other countries to have access to the EUs custom union. This may lead to trade creation and we would expect people to buy the passport for such a reason. However this could also lead to trade diversion and so people will have to factor in this with their decision to either join this monetary union.

Europe investigates unfair Chinese Subsidies - 0 views

  •
The Chinese government has been unfairly implementing subsidies for solar panel companies within China. Thus, the companies have been able to sell their Solar panels at costs that are lower than the cost to manufacture such items. This has caused European companies to ask for intensified investigation from the European Union. However, Europe is reluctant to go at a trade war with China and thus, the situation is gridlocked.
