This website lists apps available to introduce coding to students as young as Kindergarten.

The following apps are extremely useful tools to implement in an English as a second language classroom environment (Apple, n.d.; Williams, 2012; Writers, 2012).This website was about using Ipads in the ESL classroom. Many of the apps were great for helping students to nurture vocabulary skills. One of the apps that looked most interesting was Adventures for Kids, the app had story-based games which nurture vocabulary skills through repetition. Another app that looked interesting was the Phonetic Focus, it is one of the most popular ESL apps. It has a phonetic typewriter, games, flash cards, audio recording and playback, and many other tools to help master the English language.

This list of dinosaurs is a comprehensive listing of all genera that have ever been included in the superorder Dinosauria. The list includes all commonly accepted genera, but also genera that are now considered invalid, doubtful, or were not formally published, and genera that are no longer considered dinosaurs.

We're pretty diligent around here about making sure our kids understand math concepts, and math apps can be a helpful and even fun way to get them excited about it. Year after year, math just keeps building on itself, so it's super important for students to feel comfortable before they move on.

The iPad has fundamentally changed how and what I teach in my Spanish classes. First of all, I no longer use textbooks. Ever. Thanks to all our participants of Thursday night's #langchat! Our topic concerned apps #langchat teacher recommend to improve students' their oral language skills, and participants had lots of fantastic ideas. Though there are many ways to use apps to further students' oral abilities, one great advantage of using apps and related tech in the classroom is the easy availability of authentic resources.
