The Flat Classroom Project™ is a global collaborative project that joins together middle and high school students (typically grade 9-12, 14-18 years old).
Co-founded in 2006 by Vicki Davis (Westwood Schools, USA) and Julie Lindsay (now in Beijing, China) in 2006, this project uses Web 2.0 tools to support communication and interaction as well as collaboration and creation between students and teachers from classrooms around the world.
Collaborate online with Google Docs. Create documents in Powerpoint, Word and Excel and share them with your students. Students can create essays together, construct presentations and post them online with a designated URL. Google also offers collaborative calendars, photo slide shows, personalized maps, scholarly research, customizable home page and many apps.
Interrobang ?! is a game where you get to have fun with problems. Students complete real-world missions with deeds that can win prizes, improve problem solving skills and connect with others. Play with a class or collaborate globally.
Great message board application - similar to Lino and Wallwisher. Has added functionality such as post by email, chatting with participants, and polling.
