Kenya views the group as a high threat, and this illustrates the strong effect that Al-Shabaab has had throughout multiple countries. Al-Shabaab's great impact was an idea addressed in the activity.

This relates to our study because it is an example of someone who is today trying to end stereotypes in South Africa, just as the ANC tried to end apartheid stereotypes.

This has created criticism as many believe that gay people should not be allowed to worship and women should not be allowed to lead prayers. This does not directly relate to apartheid but is similar in that there is discrimination happening.

This articles describes the lack of growth and development of women extending into high education. This relates to the poor education systems in South Africa because as it experienced apartheid and as it was hard enough to get/have well educated teachers to teach the class now there is an issue to get well educated female teachers in higher education. In short, education continues to be a problem within South Africa, however the problems have down scaled, but are equally important.

This article describes the battle of HIV that Africa has continually fought against for decades. With the poverty stricken hospitals and low medical care it has become increasingly difficult to handle this disease. All in all, this disease has decreased the population as well as the life expectancy rate/age.
