  This app runs our personal and professional lives here in the "middle kingdom". I don't need a wallet, I don't need a laptop anymore. I don't even need to use my phone to call anymore. I need mobile connectivity and a smartphone and you can do everything you want without doing too much in China.

  No more paper money needed or credit cards. All is linked through WeChat. Shopping, food ordering, food delivery, door to door services like fixing a broken screen, reviews, connectivity, Chinese facebook, and more..........

  But what privacy measures are in Place considering the measures China has been going to these days for monitoring activities. Another moment like in the first lecture of "Does the average user really care?". Great article!

  That is the benefit to the government of China. They monitor the entire site all the time. All information shared is monitored and it will soon be integrated into the "social system" of the country where good citizens are rewarded with better benefits and poorly behaved citizens are penalized. It seems extreme but when all the information is on one platform, it is easier to do this monitoring. I don't think the normal citizens even care or think about this to actually be the future. But the government has been talking about this for years. For advertisers, it is a dream to have all of this information in the palm of their hands.

  oh wow, that is amazing but at the same time am not feeling to comfortable with the idea. That would mean putting all your eggs in one basket an if that basket is stolen you're left destitute. But another side of me actually likes the idea of having everything in one location.
