FindingEducation today announced its On This Day Challenge. Students will research an important historical event online, and organize their findings into an article that they will publish on findingEducation.

To help students learn and improve Web research skills, findingEducation offers guidance on how to find and evaluate information on the Web, as well as instruction for organizing information into a well-written article about the event.

Some articles will be featured on the parent Web site, findingDulcinea, or on the FindingEducation blog. Some of the teachers actively participating in the Challenge will also be featured on the blog.
