I, too, wrestled a bit with some of the Diigo features. I like the site, and it is really simple to use. However, when it comes to highlighting, it seems much harder than it should. What should operate like a simple click and drag seems to highlight some words while not highlighting others, or at times, I'd find myself highlighting an entire paragraph without even knowing it. I love the sticky note feature, though at times, it was difficult to move the sticky notes to where I wanted them to be on the web page. I also found navigation of the actual site a bit difficult at times, as I would often have to click on my name at the top to bring back a page in which I could select My Groups, Library, etc. Overall, I would say that Diigo could work great as an educational tool, but some of those minor kinks need to be worked out. As far as a bookmarking site, it seemed typical and I like others, am more used to Delicious, so I am not sure that I would make the switch based on what I saw here.
