This can help add another dimension to your paper in regards to that when black superheroes do show up, they are often stereotypes.

I thought this article was very interesting. It raises question as to where the line should be drawn in regards to should characters be explicitly only created to be role models and paragons instead of allowing a writer to be able to craft the character and story they want to create. I also found the part about the "slacker" mentality interesting as I found many of my friends adopting that sort of lifestyle in middle school. I also think the part about diversity could be used in the paper to some degree.
