This article focuses on how black heroes are based on harmful and offensive stereotypes cleaned up just enough that the majority of people won't object. While many have discussed gender controversies, this was the first article I found that talked about how black superheroes are either wrongly depicted or nonexistent.

This article is an excellent article to use if you are discussing diversity in your paper. Black people are vastly underrepresented in superhero films, and especially as heroes. This can help add another dimension to your paper in regards to that when black superheroes do show up, they are often stereotypes.
