    Know If Your Infant's Initial Movements Are Right
    1 year - He should be able to walk with feet slightly apart, the way toddlers do.
    1 ½ year - He should be able to walk while keeping feet closer. At the same time, he should be able to pick up certain objects, drag a toy behind and sometimes climb stairs.
    2 years - He should be able to kick a ball or throw it overhead.
    If you notice a lag of more than 6 months in these activities, be active in consulting your doctor.
