    Oh, I do too but that's not my point. Right now you can check with someone else who is Hindu, but if this site was on some other religion, and no one you knew practiced that religion, then how would you check and know that it is reliable...

    Okay, so the deal with bookmarking links from Grolier is....great! When you click on the bookmark hyperlink (that's the fancy name for the bookmark title in blue) you get taken to the Grolier login page.     Shinto does not have a founder nor does it have sacred scriptures like the sutras or the bible. Propaganda and preaching are not common either, because Shinto is deeply rooted in the Japanese people and traditions. "Shinto gods" are called kami.
