    i agree
  •
I went over the information on this site with Rajan and Sumit and they totally agree with this info.
  •
Oh, I do too but that's not my point. Right now you can check with someone else who is Hindu, but if this site was on some other religion, and no one you knew practiced that religion, then how would you check and know that it is reliable...
  •
i found it its is in the terms amd conditions at the bottom.

A great information site about Islam and Muslims in text, audio and video. This website again, talks about Islam and its beliefs. It tells you about the meaning of Islam, what muslims believe in, and even people who have made a change!

Sorry, couldn't get the actual site. But has lots of info, again divided into sub-sections. Also copyrighted 2011 and just by skimming through it quickly I can see that it will be a good source to those studying Hinduism. (You could also just come to me...I'm Hindu.)

  •

Again, Anna seems to understand the academic intention of using a tool like this. You cannot comment if you haven't even checked out the site. Please remove all commentary that is not academically relevant. Remember, this is all public. Create a positive and academic digital footprint.

This website this simple and straight to the point just the way I like my info. It was also updated from 2004 to 2010 making it updated.

What a great comment, Parteek. You have managed to remain professional while letting the reader learn a little bit about yourself. It is a hard balance to find - good job!

Scientology Lies - 2 views

Gives an extreme point of view of Scientologists from non-Scientologists, saying that Scientology lies, harasses and steals. Interesting to have some different point of views.

It is interesting and you could start a debate on it, but it can easily turn into a controversy. Be careful what you write.
  •
Good job identifying the bias in this website, Jody. You are developing good web analysis skills.

Seems to be a very informative website but there is no copyright date, don't know if its reliable!

I am not so sure about this site after seeing some more sites...

Shinto does not have a founder nor does it have sacred scriptures like the sutras or the bible. Propaganda and preaching are not common either, because Shinto is deeply rooted in the Japanese people and traditions. "Shinto gods" are called kami.

Shopping For God - PG 13 - 1 views

This is not a website to educate you on facts but instead on opinions (from third person view). This a blog about a women who visits different churches, she is atheist, so she looks at each religion in a very subjective way. There is no guaranty on whether or not her views are reliable, or true, as we don't just how educated this blogger is on each religion, but one really cool part about this is that she is from Vancouver and visits churches in Vancouver.
  •
I agree. This blog is valuable because it highlights a local woman's experiences at a variety of local religious sites. However, we need to be careful to think critically about this source, like Harvir mentioned. We need to ask about her personal bias, her education, her motivation, ect.

This website almost has too much information on it! I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing, in a organized fashion, the editors have shown everything from the practices and beliefs of Scientologist to how its developed over time. No wonder its the official website of Scientology!
