Initially it was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who was approached for the item song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much talked Ram Leela, but the one who stole the deal was Priyanka Chopra, who has become the hot item number of Bollywood with back-to-back item songs in many films. The multi-talented actress says she is a huge fan of Mr. Bhansali and feels great to be a part of his project. Elaborating about the song, Priyanka calls it a modern mujra which has Indian vibes with a western touch. “The song is very different and special because I am a huge fan of Mr. Bhansali. It's a modern mujra which you all have not seen for a long time. It's a mujra, but modern. It's got Indian music and vibes, but still western and contemporary. It has got a different look, different form of dancing and I didn't have time to rehearse. I used to rehearse at night,” said Priyanka, who earlier grooved in songs like Badmaash Babli in Shootout At Wadala and Pinky in Zanjeer.Now, talking about her look in Ram Leela track, she is seen in a white choli and dhoti with thigh high slit, with heavy anklets being the only accessory. She flaunts a tattoo on her midriff. This item song is choreographed by Prabhu Dheva's brother Vishnu Deva. Ram-Leela features Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead. It is scheduled to release on November 15.

Looks like singer Kylie Minogue is finding it tough to deal with her break-up with beau Andres Velencoso, and wants to get back with him. For those unaware, after dating for five years, the two parted ways, and sources said that the spilt happened due to their respective work commitments.However, if believe Minogue, the two are much in contact, and talks to each other every day, and that’s why it is assumed that the separation is not permanent. “Despite the split being a mutual decision Kylie’s not convinced it’s the right one,” said a source.“They still speak every day and are beyond close. In some ways while they are not together, their daily life actually hasn’t changed because they never saw each other anyway,” the source added. It is learnt that Minogue is looking forward to spend her Christmas with Velencoso. “Kylie hopes that they can rekindle what they had and this split will be temporary,” a source said.“She is hoping they will spend Christmas together. At this stage Australia is on her mind as a place where they can work things out,” the source added.We hope things improve between the two!

She had an illiberal experience when a filmmaker advised her to go for a plastic surgery. She said, “When I came into the industry, people had different opinions about how I look. Some told me I was too pretty, others said I wasn't fair enough or tall enough. Nearly seven years ago, I was even advised by a filmmaker to consider plastic surgery. Soon, I stopped thinking about what works.”The actress, who stars in much acclaimed film The Lunchbox, has been now praised for her looks and performance by audience and critics as well. About the success she said, “I am happy with the kind of launch I have got. It is a very exciting time for actors as roles that can surprise them are being written. This was not the case 15 years ago. A film like The Dirty Picture would not have been possible then. Also we, including the audience, are more exposed to world cinema these days. Its effect has seeped into the industry. Filmmakers today have a wider vocabulary.”Way to girl!

Since past few days megastar Amitabh Bachchan has not been keeping well, however, if believe the old chap, there is nothing much to worry about as the work continues, and he is thankful to his well-wishers for their concern towards his health.He assured his enthusiasts on Saturday that he is improving by posting on his blog about his recent work.  "Concern after my health has reached an unjustified proportion, undeservingly. More has been attributed to it than was factually correct," Big B wrote on his blog."I am getting better by the day... But your concern is legitimate, and I do appreciate your fond get wells," he wrote. Earlier on October 14, he made his fans know that he was down with fever and stomach infection. However, on Oct 17, he returned to his work, shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati."Work continues... So did an ad shoot for a client (on Saturday) and had a surprise visit by Priyanka Chopra who was shooting next door... looking stunning as ever! And when that was over, by 9 drove off to receive a youth encouragement award ceremony by the Society Magazine," he further wrote in his post.Big B was felicitated with the award at the Society Young Achievers Awards 2013, organised by Society magazine.

Filmmaker Punit Malhotra, whose directorial Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases soon, says that he wanted the film to be a two-hero two-heroine, and for the same, he wanted Saif Ali Khan to be the other hero, besides Imran Khan. "At one point of time this film was a two hero-two heroine subject. I only went to the boys. It was Saif and Imran. But for some reasons that didn't work out. I then made it into a solo hero film," says Punit. After making debut with I Hate Luv Storys, Punit took quite long to come up with his next."Imran made me wait a lot. I took three drafts to him, he had issues with first and second draft. When I went for the third time, he approved the first draft only. That led to the delay but I have no complaints," said Punit. Meanwhile, rumours had that Shahid Kapoor was approached for the project.Speaking on the same, Punit said that he did approach another actor, but denied naming him. "Imran initially rejected it, so I went to another actor, but that didn't work out and I made the changes in the script and went back to Imran and then he liked the first draft itself," he said.He also revealed that Saif rejected the offer. "Things with Saif never worked out, but he said take Kareena. We also felt at some point that there is too much happening, so we mellowed it down and made it one hero film," Punit said."We were first waiting for Imran's approval and after that happened, we started thinking about the female lead opposite him. Imran asked me who I wanted, I said Kareena but I felt she was beyond my reach," the director said."Also she had lot of projects in hand at that time. Then it so happened that she walked out of those projects and her dates opened up. I called her, narrated the script and it worked out well," he said. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases on November 22!
