Young guns Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer upcoming film Gunday is set to introduce the real life of Bengal. It would be for the first time when film industry’s popular banner Yash Raj Films is coming out with a new pasture, Bengal and its customs.Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra, it is scheduled to hit theatres on Valentine's Day on 14th of February 2014.  “Shot extensively in West Bengal, especially Kolkata, the film's backdrop essentially lends itself to releasing the film in Bengali. Besides, Gunday has another strong Bengali connect as Bappi da has given music and this is the first time that YRF and Bappi da have come together,” said a spokesperson.The coveted banner release Calcutta's most turbulent times of the 70's and this is at the soul of the film with the characters seeped in the culture of that time. The shooting of the film was done in Kolkata and some parts at Durgapur and Raniganj. According to sources, the film's story is based on the lives of two small time thieves who later get involved in the coal mafia. “The plans for releasing the film also in Bengali was finalised at the pre-production stage,” added sources.YRF plans to release the teaser poster and teaser trailer in Bengali this week.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one such actor who has high regard for his female actresses, and it was only few months’ back that he announced that his name would be preceded by his heroine's name in his films. And it started with Deepika Padukone, with whom he starred in Chennai Express.On his part, SRK feels that the decision was no big deal. He was speaking at NDTV-Vedanta's Our Girls, Our Pride fundraising telethon. As a believer in ‘ladies first’, SRK didn’t think that it was that big a gesture. He said, "I don't think it's a huge gesture. When I started out, I had some really wonderful ladies like Madhuri, Juhi and Sridevi helping me out with my work and as the years passed they started giving me star status and it became very embarrassing. So I decided to put my name at the end and the lady's before mine."SRK was speaking to telethon co-hosts Priyanka Chopra and Vikram Chandra via satellite from Dubai. He was also upset with the fact that in India female foeticide still exists. "It is an extremely unfortunate thought process. A child is a child and I don't think any woman or boy is better than the other. Each person has his or her own circumstances and education. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who is bagging appreciations for his work in Krrish 3, which has already crossed 200- crore at the box-office, is very happy with the reception the film has garnered. He is also very happy that his father and veteran actor Suresh Oberoi praised his work."My father told me, 'I am very proud of you for being so brave. Being a hero, you accepted the role of a super villain and that too opposite a superhero like Krrish, a favourite in India'," the 37-year-old said in Mumbai on Friday (November 8, 2013) at a special screening of Krrish 3 for children.For those unaware, his father was enthralled with the fact that despite being in negative role, he has performed very well with his face and fingers. In the film, it was Hrithik Roshan, who played the superhero and was seen jumping from buildings and doing all kinds of stunts, while Vivek, as Kaal, was most of the time did his act sitting on the wheel chair. And Suresh praised Vivek for the same.And this, obviously made Vivek very happy. "It felt good because he is a father and when such a talented and senior actor praises you it always feels good," he added.Krrish 3, directed by Rakesh Roshan, also stars Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut.

Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is true family man. He splendidly manages to give time to wife and kids, that why he takes them on yearly holidays. Now, as the entire team including Hrithik, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi are busy in promoting the science-fiction flick, Hrithik has requested his management team to ensure he lands in Mumbai from Dubai by noon on his wife's special day (Oct 26).         It is a known fact that Hrithik usually hosts a dinner for his wife Sussanne on her birthday and has plans to do something similar this year too. If he would gets the time from promotions on the same day than he intends to play host at a dinner in her honour. As in previous years and sources, the guests expected to attend this occasion will include Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri, Sussanne's siblings along with Abhishek Kapoor and Pragya, Uday Chopra and a few other common friends of the couple.We wish her Happy Birthday in advance!

Since past few days megastar Amitabh Bachchan has not been keeping well, however, if believe the old chap, there is nothing much to worry about as the work continues, and he is thankful to his well-wishers for their concern towards his health.He assured his enthusiasts on Saturday that he is improving by posting on his blog about his recent work.  "Concern after my health has reached an unjustified proportion, undeservingly. More has been attributed to it than was factually correct," Big B wrote on his blog."I am getting better by the day... But your concern is legitimate, and I do appreciate your fond get wells," he wrote. Earlier on October 14, he made his fans know that he was down with fever and stomach infection. However, on Oct 17, he returned to his work, shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati."Work continues... So did an ad shoot for a client (on Saturday) and had a surprise visit by Priyanka Chopra who was shooting next door... looking stunning as ever! And when that was over, by 9 drove off to receive a youth encouragement award ceremony by the Society Magazine," he further wrote in his post.Big B was felicitated with the award at the Society Young Achievers Awards 2013, organised by Society magazine.
