Fukrey actress Vishakha Singh believes in doing quality work; that is the reason that she has rejected back-to-back films, which came her way after the success of Fukrey, which also starred Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadda and Priya Anand.Also seen in films like Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Ankur Arora Murder Case, the actress is keen on doing roles, which offer her to prove her mettle in acting. "Post Fukrey, I have refused seven scripts. It's important to do what you completely believe in," Vishakha said. "I am game for anything - from drama, comedy, to thriller, romance and family entertainer. I want to try my hands at everything. I want to focus on good scripts where I have a pivotal role," added the actress, who will soon make her Malayalam debut with Rajesh Pillai's Motorcycle Diaries."The divide between the film industries is diminishing. I am comfortable in multiple languages. Once in a while, if good scripts like Motorcycle Diaries in Malayalam or a romantic comedy ValebRaja in Tamil comes my way, I will take them up," she said.Even though she is quite a known her in film industry, but doesn’t let that take a toll in her personal life. "I am not part of the rat race. At the end of the day, I know I did it on my own without a mentor, godfather or recommendations," Vishakha said. "I have seen the lows of the career very early on and have come to the conclusion that a Friday can change everything. Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been involved in various charities during his career. He has started NGO called Being Human and says after achieving so much in his career it is time to give back through charities. He says he is certainly doing his bit.Salman’s Being Human Foundation sells clothes, merchandises online and in stores in Mumbai, Ludhiana and Ahmedabad. A huge percentage of the money that Salman earns through his films is donated to the foundation.The Dabangg star is now planning to open restaurants and hospitals in the next five to six months under the same initiative. He said, “It is not my business to get into restaurants, clothing etc. As an actor, you only have the habit of getting things most of the times. But there is always time to give back to the society and I am doing my bit.”The 47-year-old actor also added that a certain amount from Being Human also takes care of industry people like workers and technicians. “Friends from the film industry do help whenever they can. But I am not good at asking money. You ask and keep asking for money and those people run away from you, and you lose friends. If you like any of things that are available at our stores come and pick it up. A percentage from this goes back into the charity, so you are doing charity.” he explained.Salman, who endorse Suzuki Motorcycle in India, also joins his foundation Being Human to promote their new vehicle Suzuki Access. The new association is an extension of the already existing ties with Salman and Suzuki as the actor endorses the Japanese brand.

Actress Vishakha Singh is now a known name in Bollywood after doing films like Fukrey, Bajatey Raho and Ankur Arora Murder Case. Latest it is learnt that she is ready to do more films as she has signed on few more projects.Her upcoming films, however, are in different languages. “These are The Maya Tape (Hindi), Thurram (Telugu), The Motorcycle Diaries (Malayalam) and Valeeba Raj (Tamil),” informs a source. But one thing that comes to notice is that despite being a Punjabi, she has not acted in one yet. Still, she has many language films in South, where she will be playing a lead role. “Doing four films at a time in itself is a big deal but considering that she is a Punjabi from Delhi, doing four film and that too in different languages is really something special,” says a close associate of the actress.“The Maya Tape, in which she is playing a reporter, sees her along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The horror thriller is being readied for release before year end while the other three would arrive in 2014. Moreover, she is also in talks to do more Hindi films, announcement of which would be made soon,” adds a source.Says Vishakha, “Yes, I am doing a lot of regional films. I realise that one should be constantly working. Moreover, South industry pays you much more as well so it is a good reason to be doing films there too.”Hope you achieve success with these films!
