Showman Entertainment Mohammed Fasih along with Percept live Harindra Singh is back with another feet tapping experience for the music lover –BollyBoom. They launched World First Bollywood Electro Music Festival and hosted a grand musical party at Hype, Worli where Sonu Nigam, Salim- Sulaiman and DJ Lloyd presented the all new Bollywood electro music. Sonu Nigam was seen giving a bombastic performance and sung his hits with the mix of electro music which made people go grove on their feet, he said, “This music will set a benchmark in live entertainment and will have state of the art technology which will add a new facet in enhancing the music lovers experience.” Shama Sikander and Alex o’ Neil raised the temperature of the party through their moves. Vindu Dara singh was seen dancing with his beautiful wife Dina Umarova. Kabir Bedi, Gulshan Grover were seen chatting and bonding with Padmini Kolhapure.Showman Entertainment is the pioneer in having best night life events across the globe having partnered in Asia's biggest Music festival with Percept Live. Mohammed Fasih was seen talking and discussing with Harindra Singh, he said, “BollyBoom will give the music lovers a chance to celebrate this infusion of electronic music with popular Bollywood numbers.”Talking about Bollyboom Harindra Singh said, “I am Happy to present Bollyboom world first Electro Music Festival. This live entertainment will, for the first time, give millions of Bollywood fans an experienced to partake in live music.”The event witness blissful performance by duo Salim- Sulaiman who was all set to bring the house down with their awesome music. They said, “It’s a blend of trance, Hip-Hop, electro funk, sufi among others. There will be an infusion of electronic beats that promise to take the Bollywood music to another level.”The stage was set; the lights were lit up with the LED screen and the ambience which looked pretty impressive. DJ Lloyd sparks the fire on the stage through his mind-blowing electro music performance which makes the audience crazy. Bollywood actress Vidya Malvade was seen shaking his legs and experienced the blend of music.Others who were seen enjoying the party are Rohit Roy, Candy Brar, Nisha Jamwal, Sophy Khan, Vikas Bhalla, Anup Soni, Reshma D’souza, Naved Jaffery, Sudhanshu Pandey, Rehan Shah, Arjun Bijlani, Poonam Dhillon and Satish Reddy. The party went on till wee hours. Overall a fantastic BollyBoom Night.

Let me start admitting here about Naked Harbour (Vousaari) not being an Artsy film at all. To some point, the film surely follows the lines and impact of Alejandro González Iñárritu's Babel (2007) and Paul Haggis Crash (2004). Aku Louhimies Naked Harbour features an interesting yet strong emotional theme of intersecting characters and plot-lines.The film follows inside-out look of 8 stories and their characters who is an American visiting the city on business, A junkie couple struggling to pay off a thug, A 16 year old girl who will go to any length for fame, a bullied Russian immigrant boy, a couple whose marriage is falling apart, a schoolboy whose only friend is his dog, A father who projects his body issues onto his teenage son, and a young single mother undergoing chemotherapy.Every character is undergoing some form of problems and non-acceptance in his/her life.  And at times the film is genuinely heart-breaking, particularly the story-lines dealing with children.The only story which was not convincing enough according to me was of the American who is on a business tour in the city. Yes there is a heavy amount of sex in the film but it's dealt in a convincing way. All the stories and performances in the film are outstanding. The story that really hit me to tears was about the Mother-Daughter relationship where the mother is undergoing chemotherapy, The 16 year old girl who wants just one shot to fame and the schoolboy and his only best friend which is a Dog.Prolific Film maker Aku Louhimies has extracted wonderful performances from all the actors and have presented a film that questions your inner soul at times. The Background Score, Production Values, Camera Work and Editing rises the top position while you are watching this beautiful journey of Finland and its people.Naked Harbour (Vuosaari) is not a film that should be missed. The film is surely a film that will make you discuss on a longer period of time even after you have left the auditorium. Two Thumbs Up for this Aku Louhimies masterpiece!

Brand Ambassador Vidya Balan attended the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Conference (IFFM) as the Victorian Coalition Government extended its support for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne by one year, reinforcing strong bond that exists between the Victorian and Indian screen industries.Recently the actress spoke at length about various aspects of her film-career. She is also well-aware that her weight is the talk of the town at the moment.“My weight has become the talking point of the nation. Why is everyone bothered about it? Is it a national issue?  I am just trying to work on my body shape, keeping in mind my character in the film. Believe me, I am not doing anything special. I am not dieting. I am happy with the way I look and hope people would leave it at that,” says, Vidya.At the same time, she is geared up to play first female detective of India in upcoming film Bobby Jasoos. The Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha production is being directed by debutant Samar Shaikh. “Samar is a very talented director. I am really looking forward to working with him,” she says. The movie goes on floor in November.

Doing an initiative along with The Clean & Clear MTV Dream Project, which helps to fulfill the dreams of over a thousand homeless girls, Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor feels he is living his dream. The initiative is a joint project of M.A.D and The Clean & Clear that has titled Ketto. The actor, who has provided professional services through Ketto, has personally helped fulfill 17-year-old Manisha's dream, through a platform that connects people to a 1000 young, underprivileged girls across India, to make their small yet precious dreams come true. In Manisha's case, it meant a cycle to take her younger siblings to school.Kunal expressed, “Initiatives such as these help individuals like us to fulfill the dreams of these girls. When I got the chance to be that helping hand for Manisha to achieve her simple yet precious dream, I felt so much happiness! More so, I was very moved by what her dream was, she did not want the cycle for herself but for her siblings. I hope that girls like Manisha never stop dreaming.”Manisha, whose father is a cancer patient, has been living in Mumbai with her family for the last 12 years. She said, “My father has been suffering from cancer for quite a while. My mother has to spend most of her time in the hospital, to meet doctors, buy medicines and support my father. I did my best to make our lives better. Being the eldest child, I took the responsibility of taking care of the house and my younger siblings. The play school they go to is very far, and I walk everyday to pick them up as they cannot come on their own. That is why my dream was to own a cycle, so that I pick them up and come home safe and continue with my other tasks.”We appreciate your move Kunal.

The multifaceted star, Farhan Khan has formed a rock band and has planned to tour with it, performing shows. Called Farhan Live, the nine-member band has been performing in different places around the world, including Goa (performance venue- the annual Carnival Celebrations of Goa, where around 15,000 people were gathered). Farhan along with music director Pritam also performed recently in Dubai.Singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan's young son, Siddharth Mahadevan, who provided hit Bhaag Milkha Bhaag title track, is also touring with Farhan Akhtar's band and feels privileged to be working along with the star.An elated Siddharth shares, “This is really an unbelievable opportunity and I consider myself very fortunate and humbled to be a part of Farhan's tour. He's such an incredible all-round artist and just to share the same stage as him will be an honour in itself. I just want to get on there and do my best and enthral all my audiences to the best of my abilities!”Farhan Live comprises Shannon Donald (vocals), Sarosh Izedyar (lead guitarist), Dibyajyoti Nath (bass guitar) Darshan Doshi (drums) and Umaang Doshi (keyboard), among others. Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman, who is most remembered for his role as Wolverine, may quit the quit the franchise soon, as he says that playing the character has been very compelling for him. It has been for a decade since Jackman has been playing the heroic mutant.Recently he spoke in length about his thoughts on reprising the iconic role. "Great parts always outgrow the actors that play them. If you forget that, it`s at your own peril. They are working on it now, and it would have to be very compelling for me to do it again. I`ve been doing it for 10 years," he said.On the idea of switching comic book characters or doing a crossover, the 44-year-old, said, "The great thing about comic books is that they threw Batman in with Wolverine or Spiderman. I have people ask me all the time, `Do you think Spider-Man can beat Wolverine?` It`s part of the DNA."He was speaking at the Spain film festival, where he had accompanied director Denis Villeneuve to promote his new movie Prisoners. There he was to receive the Donostia Award for the lifetime achievement at the special screening of the movie on September 27."Humbled and honoured by the award. My wife Deborra-Lee Furness won the Silver Shell in Los Angeles in San Sebastian in 1991 for her role in `Waiting`, so we`re going to just call it the Jackman-Furness Award if that`s alright with you."Keep up the good work!
