Producer Viki Rajani, director Prabhu Dheva and the lead pair- Sonakshi Sinha and Shahid Kapoor - who looked all excited to present the fun-filled comic of their upcoming film, were present at the event.The storyline of the comic has been shortlisted from the entries sent by enthusiastic fans across the nation. The winners not only got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to feature in the comics, but were also invited and introduced at the launch.Talking about R...Rajkumar’s custom comic, producer Viki Rajani said "Movie marketing continues to become more innovative and with this film, we have attempted initiatives to reach across all mediums. I'm happy to have the first ever custom comic book for R...Rajkumar which involved direct participation by fans and showed their keen response and enthusiasm".Shahid and Sonakshi, ecstatic with the response the songs of the film have been receiving, said that they were eagerly looking forward to the release of the film. Shahid also danced to Gandi Baat, much to the delight of the crowd present at the event. Excited to feature in the comic for the first time, Sonakshi said "My brothers would always be reading comics and I would never be allowed to touch them. Directed by Prabhu Dheva, this film is scheduled to hit cinemas on the 6th of December.

The women centric show Sasural Simar Ka on Colors has currently been revolving around the character of Jhanvi, played by Falaq Naaz. The actress has been receiving rave review for her portrayal and says it has now become my identity. She added that the show is a turning point for her career.An elated Falaq, about the popularity said, “It has been a very good experience. Initially Jhanvi was negative but now she has turned positive and now I can relate myself to the character of Jhanvi. Jhanvi has now become my identity. Recently few people recognized me as Jhanvi in a market and they asked me, Are you Jhanvi? People have lots of sympathy towards Jhanvi and I am loving it.”The actress admits that her character is quite similar to her. “I am finding it very easy to get myself involved in this character. She is a very emotional girl like me. We share food with each other and eat together. We spend good time together and we visit each other’s place in Eid or in Diwali. Both of us also go for shopping together sometimes. Veteran actor Sunny Deol has spent three decades in the film industry feels that the current phase in film industry is being strange as nowadays little importance is been given to content, and marketing, on the flip side has become dominant. "Earlier films had content, but these days films lack content. At times people say they didn't like a film, but that film ends up making money. Bahut hi ajeeb daur chal raha hai," says Sunny, who is popular for his act in films like, Ghayal and Damini. It is weird for him to find out that these days publicity has become this key to success. "This is the reality. If you don't talk about your film, you will not get to know about it."Even though he doesn’t like the idea of promoting his films, but he has to do that with his next release is Singh Saab The Great and is also enjoying the process. It was his film itself which inspired him to change, "Change is basically inspired by the tagline of the film - badla nahi badlaav - you have to change yourself."So, I thought why not bring a change in myself first. In today's time, it is important to reach out to the audience. So we have to do promotions. So, why not enjoy the whole process? I thought, let's have fun.
