Actor-turned-producer Paresh Rawal feels that the title of his upcoming film Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is misleading because the film is not a sequel of 2006 movie Malamaal Weekly.
Priyadarshan's upcoming film Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal starring Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Asrani and Paresh Rawal, has led into trouble with the Catholics protesting against it. They have threatened to stop the screening of the forthcoming Hindi movie if certain scenes making a disrespectful portrayal of the community and its priests are not deleted.
Priyadarshan has been consistent with the genre of his movies. In the initial days of his career he gave some serious movies like Aakrosh, Virasat and Gardish to his viewers which were liked and appreciated by his fans. After some time he changed his genre and skipped to the comedy genre with movies like Hera Pheri, Hangama and many more. The comic element of his movies was also liked by his fans.
Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh has been known for his brilliant timing in comedy but he will now tread an unusual path with a drama and an urban crime thriller film.
