Journal For Plague Lovers - Manic Street Preachers - Listen free and discover music at ... - 1 views

  •
Listen free to Manic Street Preachers - Journal For Plague Lovers (Jackie Collins Existential Question Time, Peeled Apples and more). 18 tracks (54:07). Manic Street Preachers are an alternative rock band from Blackwood, Wales, formed in 1986. Often referred to as "the Manics", they are James Dean Bradfield (vocals, guitars), Nicky Wire (bass, occasional vocals) and Sean Moore (drums, backing vocals, occasional trumpet). The band were originally a quartet: lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey Edwards mysteriously vanished on 1 February 1995. He was declared presumed deceased in November 2008. The Manics released their debut album Generation Terrorists in 1992. Their combination of androgynous glam punk imagery, outspoken invective and songs about "culture, alienation, boredom and despair" soon gained them a loyal following and cult status. The band's later albums retained a politicized and intellectual lyrical style, while adopting a broader alternative rock sound.

Interview with Devon Michael: "There's something about Devon" - 11 views

  •
If you like Ne Yo Drake, Jay-Z, and Kanye West, then you have to listen to the featured artist of the week with Devon Michael. The best part about Devon Michael is his originality. You get more than one speed of music from this album. It travels from great driving music, to the dance floor, to the street, and to the bedroom. It is impossible to get bored with this album, because there's is no one constant. It makes the listener wonder what the next song will bring. If you enjoy R&B and Hip Hop, you get the best of both worlds and it's impossible to just listen to once, in fact, you get hooked. 90s Indie Rock Bands and Albums: The Best Band You've Never Heard? Slint. - 0 views

  •
This is an article about Slint, a relatively unknown band from Louisville, Kentucky that has survived as a cult favorite even though they only released a pair of albums and a single containing less than twenty songs over twenty years ago. The thought that such a thing could happen and that a band could exist as an icon despite such little output is the impetus behind this article.
