Study Buddies is one of the features I like so much about this website. Students can search for and find other people with whom they can work, collaborate and interact online. They can add enough buddies to create a study group. There is also the possibility that students create a class or enroll into one to study a topic at their own pace. Today's post, however, is about a great work that has been done by our colleague Tom Barret. He has created awesome example forms for different topics. He has also , thankfully , made all these forms availabe for us to download and use with our students. I have checked all his forms and I was really amazed by the great efforts he has put into them. You can use these forms with your students for sure but remember to keep in mind the great things you can do with Google Forms if you give it a little time. This video is basically a free webinar presented by Google certified trainers Kevin Brookhouser and Tim Lee where they unveiled some of Google forms secrets and provided simple directions on how to create self-grading quiz forms within Google Docs. The transcript of this video is available HERE.

Gone are the days when students complete a paper worksheet and then put it in the wire box on the teacher's desk. In today's world, students are creating digital projects using a variety of tools on computers and mobile devices. It can become difficult for the teacher to find and keep track of all of the students' digital products/projects. One solution is to have students use tools that will provide a URL for their finished product, and then to collect those URLs using a Google form. (See Tip 112 for a list of web tools that will provide a URL for the finished product.)"
