Yes we should compile everything here in diigo. We should find articles statements and take a snapshot using the diigo capture tool. We should opt for someone for the team to submit everything soon.

This article shows how a firm lost money because the employees lack literacy skills and a portion of the company is dependent on spell checkers. Imagine how much more funds would have been lost. Some employees also had someone else check their work. I understand that this tool is available to help people but in this day and age we rely on technology too much. People are in such a trance because of technology especially gaming that they don't even read anymore, which also hinders our literacy skills.

This article shows a teacher's views and why the calculator should not be allowed in school for tests. I agree with this because it takes away from students memorizing basic math so they are able to show the work. It also indicates students in other countries are better and advanced because they prohibit the use of calculators.

This is a wonderful article with statics of how technology has caused a decrease in children reading books. Children are going online watching videos and even though they may be reading text it is quite different from reading a book. There are online books but children are not interested in reading or paying for online books. Most children are video gaming online as well which consumes there time. Teenagers are online shopping for other things clothes, make-up etc. Teenagers in this digital age are not utilizing technology properly and there needs to be balance set by parents in order for the statics in literacy skills to improve.
