The following is the copy of Motion 312. It was attached to a 21012-09-19 Press Release by REAL Women Canada. It expresses support for Motion No. 312 and the establishment of a special committee of the House of Commons to review the declaration in subsection 223 (1) of the Criminal Code of Canada which states that a child becomes a human being only "when it has completely proceeded, in a living state, from the body of its mother." Jesus is always calling those who recognize they are sinners and know that they know that they cannot get better themselves and wish to turn from their bad habits with Jesus' help. Jesus is waiting patiently for you to open the door of your heart. Revelation 3:19-22 clearly says so! gfp (2011-11-30)

Christian Reconstructionism ...What it is! - Paul McGlasson - 1 views

• according to the Bible, faithful people don’t know everything.
• Christian Reconstructionism is a powerful mix of religious and political ideas gaining enormous strength in the American church and society
• Christians have a unique “worldview” with unique access to universal truth“Christian laws” should be put in place at local, state, and federal levelsChristianity and American culture are two sides of the same coinThe proper, God-given role of Christians is to dominate the earth

• growing buzz surrounding these ideas, along with serious confusion about what it all means.
• Do Christians really have a biblical mandate to turn the judicial code of the Old Testament into the civil law of society?
• Gary Patton

There is NO Scriptural mandate for this whatsoever. The complete Old Covenant legal code was designed for Jews and no one else. Jesus fulfilled the whole law in His death and resurrection for those who believe in and follow him as outlined in Romans 10:8-12 at http://diigo.com/0lk6j .
• The issue is the twofold rule of love for God and neighbor, which Jesus himself, the true Interpreter of the Old Testament, gives to guide us in applying it to daily life
• they left a Christian nation
• Gary Patton

There is no such thing as a Christian nation simply because the Old Covenant talks about a "Hebrew Nation".
• it is centered in the risen Christ alone, not in any geographical center
• What is Christian Reconstructionism?

Given the recurring warnings in the Bible, especially the whole Book of Jude (http://diigo.com/0neqs), Jesus Followers are wise to do like the Bereans of the Apostle Paul's day when he taught them something they had not heard before. Use of the Scriptues can, however, turn into bibliolatry when we don't use it in the Spirit. Some religious Christians can arrogantly and legalistically use Scripture as a club against others.

At this video, you can learn the Pledge of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) to which Muslim students in North America commit and follow-through on. Given this kind of Cristophobic hate and that directed at other Infidel faith-groups besides Christians and Jews, is it any wonder Islamic Jihadists are finding eager recruits in Canadian and American universities. You need to know also that the MSA is associated with The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR is a major propaganda and recruiting front for the Muslim Brotherhood based in Egypt but the evil tentacles of which encircle the globe and touch many countries both Infidel and Muslim dominated. Apologetics is not about "Defending the Faith." | Pathways International - 1 views

• The theological field of apologetics is lauded by most and feared by few. Great strides have been taken by the church to raise up “defenders of the faith.” Debating others in public on the veracity of Christianity is a spectator sport that rivals all others.
• I can remember my youth in Christ, and how my brain turned to sponge. Soaking up every theory, every angle, and every point of view regarding the faith, I too wanted to nail it down so as to defend my position.
• I read everything I could get my hands on and considered every opinion under the sun. I also read from those who directly challenged my religion; atheists, agnostics, deists, scientists, and the various writings from those christians would call “the cults.”

"Purposefully", I can agree with. The rest ...not so much because the attitude it implies seems to conflict with 1 Peter 3:15-17.
• My love for apologetics had turned to lust. I had exchanged Christ, my Hope, for the fallacy of “faith defending.”
• Gary Patton

Being human and full of flesh, still, I suspect most of us would say about ourselves re the things the authour used to do ...not just on this point: "This is still me when I'm not careful to "walk in the Spirit"! (Galatians 5:16 & 25-26).
• Personally, I count that time in my apologetic walk as adulterous and Idolatrous. Where I sought to defend the faith, I was, in many cases defaming Jesus name. If any of this strikes a chord with you, stop for a moment and ask the Lord for wisdom, then read the rest.

• Somewhere along the way, the church went from “
• I dare say that if any of us had to give a defense of our faith, we could at least give it a decent showing. I wonder though, how many could give a solid defense for the HOPE within them.
• I would ask the same, “What is your hope?”

This a powerful question that Holy Spirit will use in a convicting way for some of us.
