I really enjoyed intrepid teacher's thoughts about changing your avatar and self expression. I think this is very insightful into what is in the minds of our students and children. I don't think I change my picture much as it reminds me that I have 40 pounds to lose.

Cool cool way to embed web browser pages into a web page.
  •
Bitty Browser is an incredibly cool and useful tool. It allows you to embed a website inside another web page - so if you want to embed a web page for people to use in your wiki, just use the bitty browser. You can even create up to 100 feeds and make a mini RSS reader for education news for those teachers you KNOW will NEVER use RSS. Fascinating tool.

There are around 400 students, and every single one got a laptop! I was in charge of the server/wireless infrastructure, and the imaging of the laptops as well as technical training for the people there on the ground.

Use Google Moderator To Crowdsource Group Questions - 0 views

  •
Google Moderator is a simple tool that helps groups determine which questions should be asked at all hands meetings, conferences, Q&A sessions, etc. The idea is that there are always lots of good questions to ask in a limited period of time, but it's hard to know which questions the attendees are most interested in hearing discussed. Moderator lets users add questions and vote on the questions of others, so the cream rises to the top.
  •
This way, the most popular and relevant questions would rise to the top so that the presenter or the moderator of an event could run the discussion more efficiently and in a transparent manner.

Some rely on other countries for computer parts or etc. Many ask one question about outsourcing: is it Good or Bad?Outsourcing is costing American jobs daily. Some view that outsourcing is not affecting our economy. Some businesses are outsourcing because it is cheaper to pay the people from other countries that it is to pay American workers. In the background section of outsourcing examples are given of some companies that outsource for parts and labor.
