Creativity is the act of thinking. Whether you are deliberately engaged in thought for the purpose of making novel connections or in a state of incubation where the creative process is happening somewhere in the deep unconscious it is thinking that you are doing. Making thinking visible is a must read and have for all schools who are wanting to promote thinking. The thinking routines outlined in this book are easily implemented and have robust research from Harvard Graduate School Of Education that demonstrate their effectiveness.

A great extension for Google Chrome. That allows you to take screen shots and then annotate them. This would be very useful for teachers and or students who create 'how to' instructional
Great IWB site for math and other stuff. Simply drag the numbers and drop them on the example. Great for students to do on computers and teachers to model on IWB
You will probably need virtual box or parrallels installed for this one to be effective on a Mac. If you have a PC then you will need Word 07 to take advantage of all the features. Not a big fan of maths worksheets but a generator can be handy for that spontaneous diagnostic test.
Some great widgets here for student and classblogs. I could see Buzzbite being really useful in a chance and data lesson whilst Polldaddy could be used to collect some raw data for an opinion piece-persuasive writing
Yeah Yeah Yeah! Another very valuable blog post from Tom Barret on Google forms for the classroom. What one would give to have a 1to1 laptop program when these tools are around. Great assessment tool.
