My Thrifted Closet - 1 views

  •
Welcome to "My Thrifted Closet." I am SheRea DelSol, but you can call me SheDel. I am a self-proclaimed thriftshionista (Thrift Fashionista.) I hail from the beautiful St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, but I currently live in Winston-Salem, NC where my love of thrifting began. My style has drastically changed since my high school days and most of the clothes in my closet have been replaced by thrifting in mostly Goodwill or MegaThrift (a thrift store indigenous to Winston Salem, North Carolina.) Thrifting has helped to develop my love of vintage clothes (especially the 80's) with their large shoulder pads and puffy sleeves. I also FULLY embrace bright colors and bold prints. For those of you who don't know, thrifting is the act of purchasing items from  stores that sell items that have been donated, with the proceeds from sales usually benefiting charitable efforts (eHow). Thrifting is more than just a hobby, quite frankly it is not. Thrifting is a lifestyle choice, a fashion movement. In that spirit, I have dedicated this blog and my fashion journey to thrifting. This is "My Thrifted Closet" and I hope you too discover the thriftshionista in you.

Western Wear Clothing Closet Must-haves | CowboyKicks - 0 views

  • Western wear jeans are not too different than the normal pair of jeans that women wear.
  • Vintage belt buckles are also part of Western wear closet must-haves because they not only draw attention the jeans, but also give the outfit extra appeal.
  • Men’s Western wear clothing ensembles are a bit easier to put together and have a classic appeal.
  • ...3 more annotations...
  • Cowboy hats, on the other hand, are more noticeable but are not just ornamental.
  • Western wear clothing is continuously evolving with different levels of popularity. The nice thing about  them is they continue to work their way into casual wear, as long as you know how to mix and match different
  • outfits.

Clothes Karma - 0 views

"My name is Daena. Pleased to meet you. I'm a quirky gal, a busy professional and a fashion plate living in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm especially fond of thrifting and bargain shopping for quality pieces, as well as remixing what I already own. I consider getting dressed to be an art form. An abundantly full, but seriously organized closet is my canvas. Clothes karma, while heavy on fripperies and fashion, is a reflection of my colorful lifestyle in general: interior design, personal fitness, crafting, urban living, travel and lots of inspirational eye candy. Disney Bound - 0 views

"DisneyBound is meant to be inspiration for you to pull together your own outfits which work for your body and wallet whether from your closet or local mall. I, Leslie, do not claim to own anything I post from clothes to characters. This is nothing more than a fan site. Keep calm and Disney on, and keep the character requests coming! :)"

Dainty Girl - 0 views

My name is Nicole and I've always had an affinity for pretty things. I love to feel feminine, soft and of course…dainty! It started at young age, playing in Mom's closet and cutting my own hair (much to Mom's dismay) and continued throughout my teenage years as I learned to shop and give my friends makeovers.

J's Everyday Fashion - 0 views

  •
About J's Everyday Fashion Imagine a fashion magazine full of women just like us - moms, college students, professionals, in all shapes and sizes, on a budget and dressing for the challenges of everyday life. There would be no models, no Photoshop, no fancy backdrops, just real women talking real fashion.  I want that magazine to be a reality someday. For now, I bring you J's Everyday Fashion. Not a personal style blog, but the study of one girl's closet. How far can you make a small (couple hundred dollars a month) budget stretch? Do the trends and outfits we see in magazines really hold up in real life? I share it all with you here - the failed attempts, the experiments, the successes, what I wear to events in my own life, but also what I might wear if I were in your shoes (working in an office, being a mom, etc.). This website is all about empowering women - to give them fashion without the frills, that hopefully you can use and apply to your life in a very practical way. And maybe someday… I'll bring you that magazine, too.  :-)

FROM THE REZ TO THE CITY - 0 views

  •
I have always been in love with fashion but I was born on a Native American reservation where it was not available. Growing up I looked through my mom's fashion magazines for inspiration, then I created outfits with what I had in my closet. When I left the "Rez" and moved to the "City" I went crazy for fashion! If I had to categorize my style, I would call it classically chic with a touch of glam/drama. In an effort to inspire my fellow full-figured women, I decided to share my style through this blog. My goal is to prove that no matter your dress size...you can "ROCK" fashion and look great! I believe the key to great style is finding inspiration, being creative and displaying confidence. I hope you are inspired! Kiah

When you go for shopping you should not purchase any product just because it is on sale at a low price. If you don't look good in it, you'll never wear it again. You will end up letting it get stale in the closet and that means your money will have been wasted.
