I'm a writer, events manager and social media bod interested in fashion, both vintage (unsurprisingly) and streetwear (more unusually), as well as sports and healthy lifestyles. Always creative, and a lover of language, I started out as a traditional marketing copywriter, slowly moving from company to company to try and find that perfect role, always the most strangely dressed in the department (and in the creative sector, that's saying a lot). I always hate writing the "about me" bits on websites, but I guess it's kind of necessary. My name is Kelsi, you might have already figured that out by now. So, let's see… about me: From 1984-2002 I lived in a small town in Northern California. From 2002-2012 I lived in the beautiful, magical city of Seattle, WA, where I went to cosmetology school and worked as self-employed professional hairstylist for eight years. Now I'm heading to the midwest (Oklahoma City to be precise) to live with one of my best friends for a while and change up my life! Hey! I'm Mandy and this is my blog (spoiler alert!). I'm wife to Scot (no typo, just the one T) and mama to Harper, the most charming toddler I've ever met.I started the Haps to document her life back when she was just a few months old in hopes that one day I'd have something to show her since the 3 baby books I own are sitting lonely with a few pages filled out (I'm either the laziest person alive or a hoarder - jury is still out on that one).
