Living in the Midlands of England, I get to live on the edge of the lovely countryside whilst being able to hop on a train to cities such as London, Birmingham and Manchester. I started this blog in July 2009 as a general expression of all things 'me' but I soon found it taking a fashion and style direction. I'm a major art geek and hope to make a career selling my paintings and taking portrait commissions. I'm a little obsessed with hydrangeas, The Phantom of the Opera and Hello Kitty. I'd say icing is my favourite food, accompanied by buttercream and perhaps a little cake, and I have an addiction to collecting craft supplies such as ribbons and sparkly gems. I started Florrie's Art Spot in June 2011 as a separate blogging project on Tumblr.
