Bri Emery entertained an early passion for design and typography by keeping inspiration journals of curated images torn from magazines and scotch taped together. Her enthusiasm for simple yet effective execution grew into a lifelong love for quality and creativity, so with a work ethic as strong as her smile is bright, Bri graduated from FIDM with a degree in Graphic Design / Branding, and very quickly earned a reputation as the go-to gal for innovative and stylish design. She consistently brings fun and fresh creative solutions to every project, infusing them with her signature charm and clever eye for color. Calling Los Angeles home, when she's not in her office she can be found brunching, thrifting, and thinking how deep down, she really just wants to be Jazz singer.

Have you ever heard of someone loving their job so much that they pause for lunch and realize its already dinner time? I am a graphic designer, web designer, photographer, video animator, cinema enthusiast, painter, and all around digital wizard! If there is something I don't know, I teach myself! I am passionate about what I do, and I'm lucky enough to call my hobby my career. I decided to create this space to share all my random creative projects, my inspiration, and all the little things that I find beautiful in the world! My goal is to make the world a more beautiful place, and this is my outlet. I'm Kaelah and this is my little corner of the internets. I am a lover of bulldogs, bubble baths, road trips, dresses with pockets, and adventure. I'm a 24 year old recent college grad with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and I'm living my small business dream. I just opened up a mobile retail shoppe called Honeybean and my heart has never been so full! I bartend on the weekends and design away during the week. I live in a quaint cream colored cottage in East Nashville with my handsome photographer fiance, Mike, and our two fat bulldogs (and a fuzzy cat), and as of February 2012, my sweet little toddler step son. When I'm not perusing the interweb for all things magical you can probably find me at the puppy park or tattoo shop. After two whirlwind summers spent in the art department at BUST magazine in NYC, I am calling Nashville home (until we find our dream home/town to settle down in!).

Welcome to my blog, Hopeless Notebook. I started my blog on January 1st, 2012 when I noticed that a friend of mine had started her own blog. Her blog was so adorable and fun, and I knew I could come up with something equally as fantastic, thus Hopeless Notebook was born!      Hopeless Notebook is a lot of things : a fashion blog, a lifestyle blog, a place for pictures, DIYs, inspiration, and everything in-between. Sometimes there will be silly, happy stories, sometimes there will be sad ones, and other times there will be lots of whining, but this blog will always be 100% truthfully me. ♥♥♥      As for me, I'm a college girl trying to make her silly, outlandish dreams come true. I currently live in sunny Florida, but as soon as college is said and done, I'll be packing up with my mister and moving far, far away. We'll be moving to North Carolina where I plan on opening up my own dress boutique, and possibly doing a bit of graphic design work on the side.      My mister's name is Garrett, and we've been together since our freshman year of high school. We're crazy about each other ♥ but mostly we're just crazy.
