This article brings up the very valid point of who will be paying for our classrooms with all the new technology available to us now. The article also addresses the subjects of what our classrooms will look like with this influx of new technology and if we will ever see them in our lifetimes. This really reminds me of one of the pitfalls we discussed in class: you know, the Veruca Salt problem--gotta have it all RIGHT NOW.

This article discusses the future possibility of taking classroom exams on tablets. Tablet manufacturers are slowly providing the necessary security that would be needed to support this change. As with all advance in technology, there are pros and cons that need to be weighed and considered. There is even mention of a future possibility of BYOTD (bring your own testing device).

Great source for this article. As schools begin to move to more devices like the Tablets, this will definitely impact testing. I enjoyed reading about "locking down the device" as more and more tests are taken online.

In this article, Michael Horn talks about the future of technology in education by way of the blended classroom. According to Horn, technology is shifting views of education in such a way that eventually, students will be learning online and at their own pace. He also talks about technology from the perspective of global education, and what potential exists for children from all corners of the world to connect and learn with one another.
