Great instructional video for teachers and parents to understand the teenage brain. If you are planning on teaching middle and high school I strongly recommend it. If you have taken SECD 4140 you might've seen it already. For me, it was an eye opener. I was a teenager a long time ago and sometimes I feel like I don't really relate or understand certain behaviors. After watching this video I feel more compassionate towards teenagers! Check it out! Really neat site that shows videos that are relevant to teaching. There is a wide variety of what kinds of videos they show. There is math, science, etc.

You tube for teachers! Here you will find videos posted by teachers to aid in their instruction. Some stuff is really good, others not so much, but as with anything on the net you have to spend some time browsing. Great resource if you are not inclined to do your own video!

This is a site only for creating diagrams. It's another way of helping you organize your ideas. This could be used by a teacher who needs help in designing a lesson plan, or it could be used in the actual lesson plan to help students understand certain, confusing concepts.

This is an interesting site that allows users to create their own stories, using different images and info from the web. A teacher could use this to create a video or story relevant to the topic being studied in the classroom. That way, the teacher would visually engage the students and know that they can relate to the characters or stories that he/she created, allowing for a more exciting and fun classroom environment.

Another good site containing manipulatives such as algebra tiles, base ten blocks, and geoboards for grade k-8.

This website allows you to look up audio, videos, worksheets, and lessons based on your topic/ unit. The site will even filter by grade level and subject and will give you different lesson plans/ worksheets you can use in the class. They also have interactive games for the lesson that students can do online.
