Twiducate is a free resource for educators, similar to Twitter but for education. The goal is to create a medium for teachers and students to continue their learning outside the classroom. You can post assignment dates, manage students and groups, and have a place for quesions.

Use this as a great orginizational tool. You can manage a calendar of reminders, organize projects that are turned in electronically, and access files from anywhere. You can even add an app for your iPhone or Android phone!

This is more geard towards younger students like elementary age, however some of the definitions are a foundation to any math problem. Use them if your students are confused about a new lesson topic to help show them what something means.

Mainly used in math classes as I've seen so far, but a great tool to be used in the classroom. if you ever have a chance to try on out, do it! It's fun and the kids seem to pay attention better when using it.

What a great website! I spent a good hour just looking at all the things on here. They have tips for us "new" teachers, ideas for lesson plans split up by subject and grade, articles from other teachers. if you have a bit of time check it out! it was really helpful to me
