As if 3D printing wasn't impressive enough. A unnamed man in the US successfully had 75 percent of his skull replaced using just a 3D printer. The printer printed out an implant, which the company (Oxford Performance Materials) was granted permission to install within the patients skull. Also stated was that the implant has special indent and features that allows and promotes brain growth within the patient. The potential of 3D printing is extremely high. The company has said that they can now print out implants to fix any type of bone damage, whether it be from disease or trauma. The company also says that 500 people in the US a month could use this technology to fix any injuries. 3D printing is the future of the medical field, and I wouldn't be surprised if some day we could 3D print organs.  3D printing is talked about a lot in Mr. Fabroa's class, but I believe that it deserves all the coverage it gets. It truly is the future of the technological world.

Google has recently implemented a feature known as "Inactive Account Manager" which will allow users to control what will happen to their data after inactivity for a predetermined amount of time. The option gives users the option of deleting their data, or sending the account information such as passwords to another user or email address. Besides the use of this feature for alive users that just wish to remove their information if they don't use the services after a certain amount of time, Inactive Account Manager is one of the first mainstream Google features that will allow people to control what happens to their information after they're six feet under. With the way technology has become more and more involved in our every day lives, this new implementation is not surprising to me at all. What surprises me is that it took this long for there to be a service such as this. A quick Google search shows that on Facebook alone, there is over 30 million accounts of dead users still on the Facebook servers. It won't be long until other social websites implement such features, and it wouldn't be surprising if some even allow you to write a message or status update after their untimely doom. Imagine that, "John Smith is now dea! Like or Comment"

Vodafone warns that IPhone 4S owners should not upgrade to the latest version of the IOS. the reasoning as to why IPhone 4S users shouldn't upgrade to the latest IOS is because some user  that did update there IPhones 4S to the new IOS begin to experience problems connecting to the internet, receiving  text messages and phone calls, but there is no fear if you have upgraded as because they are already trying to find a solution to the problem.  

There are many toy helicopters that you can buy, but what makes this toy different than the rest is that you can move the helicopter with your hand. You basically wear this glove with a joystick and you are able to make the helicopter move through the air just by waving your hands. This toy relates to this course because you have to be able to program this device to do all the movements that the glove is doing. As well, the software on this device is incredible and its a gaming device for all to have fun.  

I think this is an awesome fun toy for when ever you feel like have coffee and playing video games. You can play many games on it such as mortal combat, pacman, space invaders and many other fun games! I think this invention is awesome for people who have guests over there place and you can show them you new coffee table!

This article is about Google's new tablet that will be released sometime in April this tablet is expected to cost $199, it will be 7-inch. This tablet is an update for the android 4.0. I think people would invest in this because it can do many things like IPad but is cheaper. I think people should invest in a Google branded tablet instead of the IPad beacause it can save you a lot of money.

Scientists have now further refined their ability to be able to read and render our memories. Test subjects were given a number of movies to watch (hopefully not rise of the planet of the apes, that was just a terrible movie, it has no respect to the first film in terms of story. In the first film it is said humanity wiped itself out in a nuclear war to destroy the monkeys but in this movie it was because of a disease, and they even put it after the credits so if you leave early which you will, you will not even finish the whole movie or grasp its crappy plot.)and were then placed in an MRI machine. The MRI machine read their brain activity for hours on end which was then compiled and rendered through super special 11 herbs and spices techniques to roughly display their thoughts visually. This technology needs to be further refined so that instead of hours of imaging, it can be seconds of imaging so that our governments may use it to find the terrorists, our enemies and decrease our liberties all at the same time.

This is a pain free upgrade for thunderbolt users now because all you need to do is buy a new cable. Can it get any faster? Nothing goes faster then light, or does it? Besides Steve Jobs stepping down as CEO of Apple and leaving it all to Tim Cook, anticipation is high for the next iphone and the coming of iOS 5. i think it's safe to say that people everywhere are exciting to see what Apple has up their sleeve in 2011.

Scientists working out of Georgia have claimed they have reversed the aging process in stem cells. Stem cells are essentially nature's duct tape because of their ability to replicate surrounding cells however they regenerate slowly which is one of the reasons why that have yet to be put into major medical use (that and our conservative government). This new discovery has made indestructible duct tape at a cellular level. This however does not fix stems cells' slow replication process, but this is one step forward.

Sarcasm, republican primaries have left me with some resentment. I feel if they get in charge we can say goodbye to american scientific innovation for the next little while.

Military drones based in Pakistan have been hacked this week by an unknown source. They have yet to turn on their masters and the hacking has been so far benign. The question is, who is doing the hacking? This outlines the government's susceptibility to computer attack. Their ignorance and dependance on conventional warfare will fire back at them one day.

Before the highly anticipated book about Steve Jobs' bio by Walter Isaacson comes out. This small page shows a small peak of Steve Jobs' bio, what he says and what he will leave behind. He mentions something about Hewlett Packard, as he stated that they had created such an excellent company, but now it's being dismembered and destroyed, and he didn't want that to happen to Apple the same way. R.I.P. Steve Jobs, truly a great and different mind.

Why isn't apple releasing an 7 inch iPad. They say its just isn't apples way. They don't want to change the price just because its a smaller iPad so they rather keep their iPad stay the same size as it is.
