The South Delhi Municipal Corporation has collected ₹ 3.5 lakh as penalties from seven construction companies, for violation of air pollution control norms in the first three days of December, the SDMC said yesterday. Each company has been fined with an amount of ₹ 50,000, it said in a statement

Fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi's sprawling seaside bungalow located in Alibaug, Maharashtra was demolished on Friday.Raigad District Collector Vijay Suryawanshi confirmed explosives were used in the process.
