Something about saber
though is that like a few other verbs, it changes meaning slightly in the
preterite. We’ll go over more on this later but it although you might think
it translates to ‘knew’, it actually means ‘found out, learned’.
Señor Jordan shows one wacky verb here. Once you get that saber's new stem is sup- and you know the irregular endings: e, iste, o, imos, ieron, you'll be cool! And, guess what? No accents!!!!! oh, one more thing, sabger changes its meaning in the preterite to "found out, learned." I told you it was whacky :)
