This group represents the students of my Spanish III class. Our aim is to develop a diverse selection of Web-sites, videos and other 2.0 tools that will help us master the Spanish preterite tense which is essential to communicate about things from the past. How else would we talk about our day and things that have happened? Our communication would be severely limited. We can't just keep talking about the here and now. Our communication skills must grow and with better understanding of the preterite tense, we will gain confidence as communicators. Your mission is to gather sites, videos, images, practice activities, games and the like on the Spanish preterite. These will serve us well as we create our Webspiration graphic organizer for review. Since there are so many irregular verbs in the Spanish preterite, organizing them in Webspiration will put some perspective on the whole situation and foster your reading writing, listening and speaking skills. Make sure to organize them in Diigo to make it easier for working in Webspiration. Please choose your resources selectively and purposefully. You will need to explain to us why you chose your resource and how it can contribute to our Webspiration project. This will contribute toward your grade for this activity. Please refer to the rubric for this assignment for more details. You must locate at least 5 resources. Highlight important passages, include sticky notes telling us your thoughts and ideas, use proper tagging (which verbs is your resource addressing) and bookmark the resource. Remember, we are building this graphic organizer for us for review right now, but it will also serve generations of Spanish students to come. Somebody in Wisconsin, England, anywhere in the world, may find the fruits of our labor worthwhile and use it too! So let's put forth our best effort and find great resources to master the preterite tense and make our Webspiration informative, comprehensive, interactive and multidimensional.
