A book I ran across about information overload and how we can take control of the media that is overloading us and use it to our benefit (the Foreword is written by Clay Shirky).
Some of the authors we read this semester drew from work by Norbert Wiener, the founder of cybernetics. Although rhetorical studies was not Wiener's field, his writing has had a profound affect on modern technological language.
