This post discusses how to write in your true voice, but online, not in academic writing. I thought it was interesting though, because it addresses avoiding "corporate speak" and suggests using first person to get a personal message across. In academic writing, I think "corporate speak" could actually be proper grammar and certain styles. Do they take our voice out of writing? It's not always an option to take out a style from writing. And in academic writing, it's rarely an option to use first person.

I talked about this PowerPoint in the chapter 10 group. It compares i-learning vs. e-learning in a clearer way than I thought the chapter did.

This teacher make an argument for why students benefit from technology such as smart phones in the classroom. As she says in her blog, many teachers think of smart phones as a distraction in the classroom, but since so many students are so proficient in using their smartphones, they may actually benefit from making use of them.

This article addresses every aspect of writers' block as "symptoms" then gives specific cures for each reason for blocking. It goes hand in hand with our reading for this week. While some of the "cures" are rather broad, many are specific enough to really help a person overcome writers' block because they touch on the problems so specifically.
